This stunning house boasts a 17 meter lounge/kitchen/dining room, four bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms and several sun terraces on different levels.
The kitchen is equipped with an electric range and gas hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave. There is a breakfast bar and large dining table which seats ten. The lounge is a huge light and airy room with stereo, DVD player, video, and TV with UK Sky.
The house has three double bedrooms and one twin; all have excellent en suites using mosaics and natural stone. All four bedrooms are at the back of the house and therefore protected from the noise of the summertime Tarifa revellers. There are several terraces with rooftop views of the old town with its jumble of flat roofs, churches and palm trees. Also the fishing port and the island, which is the southernmost tip of Europe, the sea and glimpses of Africa. There is also a laundry room on the ground floor.
Keeping the original footprint of the thick walls and an inner patio, the integrity of the building has not been sacrificed. At the centre of the house, the cool patio provides a pleasant contrast to the summer heat. White pillars stretching up over two floors and the natural contours of the sand coloured walls make for a very calming interior.
Wooden doors at the bottom of the two staircases separate the studios from the house. Here the slate floor gives way to cream marble; simple and understated but practical the marble is gloriously cool in the summer while in winter the under floor heating can be switched on for a completely different effect.
